WELCOME TO OUR LITTLE HIDE AWAY IN THE HEART OF BRITTANY
Idyllically nestled between tall oaks and chestnuts, our 300-year-old stone house is far away from the noise of the city and only 400 meters from the old Nantes-Brest Canal.
Our gîte - as these small holiday apartments are called in French - is located next to the main house on our 1.2 hectare property and is perfect for 2 people and includes one bedroom, bathroom with bathtub, fully equipped kitchen, open living/dining room and a private terrasse with jacuzzi in our lovely ruin.
From here you have the ideal starting point for excursions throughout Brittany.
The north and south coasts, as well as Crozon, can be reached within an hour, the western tip in 1.5 hours. The forests of Broceliande and Huelgoat, as well as the Mont d-Arée are each 45 minutes away and a trip to Rennes is also possible in 1 .5 hours. In the evening you can relax in complete seclusion in your exclusive wellness oasis (the ruin).
But there is also a lot to discover in the surrounding area, such as the Abbaye de Bon Repos, the Gorges du Korong, or the enchanted Chapelle Notre-Dame-de-la-Fosse. The heart of Brittany, which is still almost unknown to tourists, has its own charm and delights with its lovely landscape, old churches and cute villages where markets and festivals take place all summer long.
If you don't feel like a long excursion, enjoy the peace and seclusion in our spacious garden, take a walk along the idyllic Nantes-Brest Canal, stop off at the écluse 150, which is open from May to September, or explore the surrounding area by bicycle.
Three swimming lakes can be reached within 20 minutes by car.
Tuesdays are big market days in Rostrenen, where visitors come from all over the region. You can relax and watch the hustle and bustle with a fresh galette from the market stall or a cider from the pub.
In addition to electric radiators, our holiday apartment is also equipped with a fireplace, which provides cozy warmth on cool evenings.
Very fast and stable satellite internet and smart TV are also part of the equipment and might make you want to go on a workation stay.
The highlight is our ruin, which is exclusively available to you during your stay and is equipped with a day bed, garden furniture, barbecue and jacuzzi.
Please note that we have two dogs that are allowed to run free on the property at all times. So you shouldn't be afraid of dogs and your four-legged friends should be compatible with other dogs. Our property is not completely fenced.
